About this deal

The fault is actaully cause by the frost stat, the unit should freeze up, know its frozen hense the frost sensor then defrost producing the water. the frost stat is an NTC ( negative temperature coefficient 22K ) sensor that is attached to the side of the freezing coils. In my case the sensor was not inserted correctly and was manufactured with an inherant defect in reality. Because of this the coils over froze giving a problem with the coolant pump circuit, hense the flashing red light.

The Ebac 2650e dehumidifier sits firmly in the “mid-range.” It’s not too pricey but there are also cheaper options available. Even so, we think it provides reasonable value for money, especially with the Smart Control system and large extraction capacity. SummarySmart Control’s adaptive extraction rate, efficient airflow and heat exchange technology ensures the ideal amount of water is removed. Guaranteed to solve all problems User friendly features designed with you in mind including clear LED display and integrated carry handle for complete portability The list is virtually endless; running a shower or bath, boiling a kettle, cooking a meal, doing the dishes and drying laundry all increase the level of moisture in your home.

More economical semi-professional dehumidifier with an Infinity humidistat. Users can select a specific humidity level and Powerdri will do the rest. Infinate dial control We’re impressed with the energy efficiency of the 2650e. It has a maximum power consumption of 180W – even when on “High” fan mode. This is less than most dehumidifiers and means it’s cheaper to run.The dimensions of the 2650e are 34 x 54.5 x 26.5cm (WxHxD). It’s not the bulkiest dehumidifier we’ve reviewed but it’s also not compact – especially in terms of height and depth. For comparison, the smallest desiccant dehumidifiers can be almost 10cm thinner and shorter. This isn’t a complaint, as the large water tank and powerful compressor naturally require more space, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you want to place the machine in a small room. The Ebac 2250e humidifier is a home appliance designed to regulate humidity levels in indoor spaces. It is equipped with advanced features to achieve optimal performance. The design of this humidifier ensures its compatibility with various room sizes. A powerful semi professional dehumidifier with an Infinity humidistat. Set a specific level of humidity to help with building drying, plaster drying and paint. Useful for minor floods and water ingress. Infinate dial control Removes exactly the right amount of moisture to stop and prevent damp and condensation problems in all UK homes. Enclosed & integrated container As it’s a refrigerant dehumidifier, you would expect it to work best in warmer and humid conditions. Ebac claims it can function down to a temperature of 3 degrees Celsius, but the efficiency will be dramatically reduced. This isn’t an issue with the 2650e specifically – it’s a result of how refrigerant dehumidifiers work – but is important to keep in mind.
