Twitter Tool Tuesday – BirdHerd

Birdherd markets itself as “Twitter made easy for groups & teams”. The idea is that there doesn’t have to be a single login for multiple people to post from the same Twitter account. After setting up a group of people for the Twitter account, posting from it is “as easy as sending a direct message to the group twitter account”.

Without the need for sharing a single accounts username and password, Birdherd makes it possible to authorise (and un-authorise) multiple users. One great trick it has up it’s sleeve is that with Birdherd you can use any tool you like – Hootsuite, CoTweet, TweetDeck – to update the account, making it even easier for multiple users with different tastes in tools.
